I was trying to think of some new fun ideas for a commercial project I'm working on and I remembered some inspiration photos I took at the Boston Design Center a couple of months ago. The designers incorporated a rod hanging system for the artwork which I think looks pretty great.
(And of course everything looks better on wallpaper! That grasscloth is so fabulous!!))
One of my favorite sources for art frames is Framebridge. They have a great website for SUPER, easy custom framing, in addition to an app that lets you preview your own art in the new frame! I love the Cairo burl wood frame and the Tiger wood frame.
Hanging artwork salon style, like above, is a great way to get the trendy gallery look with a little oomph. This can also be a great DIY project by simply finding your perfect rod and using a hook and chain to systematically hang your artwork. You can find picture rail molding hooks online or check out this tutorial from Little Green Notebook.
