The new year is bringing some exciting new trends in home design and to my absolute delight, 70's style continues to steam its way into the home. Like a sneaky fog coming in under the door, hints of brass and art deco are making a big statement. Last year we saw a big change in flooring, with chevron patterned, recycled wood, and this year, I think the ceiling is going to fight for it's place in the spotlight.
While researching ceiling treatments, I happened upon the most fabulous design I have seen in a long time. As I "next'd" through photo after photo, my heart beating like it does when finding the perfect treasure in the antique store that has a price of $10, I realize that I have found a new design love;
Sydney based designer Greg Natale.
Many of my favorites throughout my life have come from Australia;
 koala bears, Olivia Newton-John, Hugh Jackman and now...Greg Natale.
 Greg has managed to marry the fabulous of the 60's-70's with traditional elements, creating what I think is the "Look of 2013" in home interiors.
Obsessed doesn't even begin to describe. Since this post is actually a narrowed down version of my favorite photos, make sure to visit his website for the full tour of his projects. For now, here is a peek.
I felt like I needed a cigarette after and I don't even smoke. :)

The pool tile is OUT OF CONTROL on so many levels!!!!
