Aquariva Gucci |
In 2010, I stumbled upon photographs of a boat, the Riva Domino 86. Knowing little about boats, I was not privy to the Riva brand however, I was smitten and then with the launch of the Aquariva Gucci...say no more. As one might fall head over heels in love with a stranger, I was charmed by this exquisite creature and continue to carry with me a quiet hope of a chance meeting. Since that day, I find myself searching Riva boats for sale, dreaming about the lifestyle and infusing Riva inspiration into my work.

Last year I actually traveled to the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show with a mission to see this stunning boat in person.

I can guarantee without question, there was not a person at that show more enthusiastic about seeing the Domino 86 than I. Why I am so taken by this boat? Perhaps the STUNNING interiors, or the sexy modern vibe, all I can say is "One day, I will spend some quality time with this Italian beauty."
**Now Sending Into the Universe- (Stayci Fast reporting from Italy on the Riva brand's 170th anniversary celebration and Carlo Riva's 90th birthday. Oh prego caro Dio, prometto di essere degno)
Until then, I am determined to translate the Riva style into interiors for the home. Riva's signature color is turquoise. Coincidence? I think not.

Absolutely soon I will cruise along the Amalfi coast again, stay at JK Place and arrive in style on a Riva.
